We're Chana Construction Inc., a second-generation, family-run general contracting business based in Union City that owner Devinder S. Chana has led for over 35 years, bringing more than 45 years of combined industry experience to every job. We build new homes and handle additions, remodels, tenant improvements, restaurants, shopping centers, and specialty projects like dental offices and veterinary clinics throughout Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose, and the wider Bay Area. Our small, tight-knit team is well known in the community, and Devinder personally meets with every client to review plans, take measurements, and walk through the options before writing up a detailed estimate. We collect payment according to completion milestones so there are no surprises, and we stay hands-on from groundbreaking to final walkthrough. Whether it's a retirement home, a first home, or a full commercial buildout, we treat every project like it's our own.
